Good news... Not the PSU...

 

Make sure that you clean around the battery and remove all the gunge from the PCB. Any left on the PCB will cause nasties later. I have just had a zero 88 XL in the workshop that had not been cleaned after battery replacement. It was totaly non-functional. After a good clean up and some IC socket and IC replacements it was fine.

 

CPC, Rapid electronics or RS would be your best bet.
