DMX512 Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 Why are not all gobos in the beamshape palettes window (Frog2) even though they are assigned in the fixture tool Quote
impat Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 good question, it had also already tried using the editor, no results. Quote
Electech Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 I also can't get the gobo icons to load in either Phantom ZerOs or my Leap Frog 48 Icons load properly from the factory fixture library Also when I use auto palette the beamshape page is blank and the color palette page has duplicate colors and they are out of order Any ideas Quote
impat Posted November 14, 2010 Report Posted November 14, 2010 I figured out how to add gobos in the fixtures. Do the *. jpg files are stored on the desk or will they file in the *. ift? Quote
Kirkup_xp Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 Hi all, There are a few rules in the ZerOS software that determine how auto-palettes are generated. For Gobo palettes, the name must be 'Gobo n' where n is the number, and there is a space between Gobo and the number. The wheel must also follow the name GoboN<> for a rotatable wheel or GoboN for a fixed wheel, again where N is the number of the wheel. For Colour palettes, the desk will generate 10 'fixed' palettes for use with CMY/RGB mixing fixtures, which are based around the basic colours easily achievable with these mixing methods. Any additional colour palettes, 11 onwards, are based on the RGB values assigned to the fixed colour wheels (name "Color N"). Once these are defined in the fixture types correctly, the gobo and colour images should be loaded for you automatically. Manually created palettes will display colour or gobo if they contain that information AND the fixtures that the information refers to are selected. I hope this helps, Peter Quote Peter Kirkup
Electech Posted November 15, 2010 Report Posted November 15, 2010 After another 5 or 6 tries I have the proper syntax and icon size (32 x 32 pixels) All is working well Thank you Suggestion: Add updated details to the the "Fixture Editor User Guide Issue 2.0" to reflect the additions to the program.
