Hi Ian,

I know this is all basic stuff, so sorry, but does the USB stick work fine in a computer / laptop, and have you tried formatting the USB stick?

Cheers

Yep works fine everywhere else.

Going to by new stick today just in case, but don't think its at fault.

Desk still on V1 will this make a differance.

Hi Ian

Worth trying the update, and also trying another USB stick. Some brands of USB sticks do funny things to their sticks which makes them inaccessible by a relatively simple processor such as the Jesters. Switching to another brand or even using the unbranded (cheaper) sticks generally fixes the problem.

Let us know how you get on,

Still no joy!!

tried different stick N/G, local computer shop said to reformat stick, tried a few formats. which format does the desk use.

The USB host has now updated Main 03.58VDAPF RPRG 1.00R.

Desk knows there's no shows on stick but still won't save a show.

Starting to panic now as gig on sunday night!!

Its all to do with how the files are stored on the USB stick, once over 1GB the stick compatments the files so the ML can't find them.

Now on the search for a new stick, no one in town has one!!

Thanks again for all your support.

Hi Ian

What you are suggesting is most likely correct, that larger sticks use alternate file systems or structures that the simple processor in a Jester is unable to support. We do stock 1gb memory sticks ourselves which we know work well with the Jesters - although these are not particularly cost-effective, we do guarantee they will work with the consoles.

Out of interest, what brand is your 4gb stick?
