Hi,

I am also having this problem, The Common Fixture Manager does not save any CFT files. Have tried many machines of varying specification and still no luck. I would really like to know if there is a work around.

Many Thanks.

SOLUTION:

The Common Fixture Editor (V 2.5) does not save any cft files.

from the current Fixture Tools packet, the FIXTURE TYPE EDITOR v.0.012.120 AFAIK works -

-BUT -

the COMMON FIXTURE MANAGER can't save files! it has the version number 0.0.0!!!!

Thanks to the older package FixtureTools2_1_0_0.zip from Marcus here in this thread, I installed only the COMMON FIXTURE MANAGER, which now has version 2.1.0.0

and hurrah, THIS one works & save files.

plz update the package at the download page, this costed me MANY hours!

The Problem with the 2.5.3 Common Fixture Manager is not out of date until now. Now I have seen Kirkup_xps pinned topic regarding the release of Fixturetools 2.6 from January 2012. I'm asking myself, if the problem was fixed in that version. The problem is, that at every product download page only the old 2.5.3 version is offered for download. So where can I download the new version of the fixture tools?

So, if you don't start drinking...I'm gonna leave!!!

Hi Morn

Sorry about this - you spotted a problem with the import of our downloads to the new website. This has now been resolved, so you can download Fixture Tools 2.6 from any of the product pages.

Sorry for any confusion this might have caused - hopefully this will resolve your problems.
