pierotec Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 Hi Peter, In my old frog2 this release has one problem as version 5.3.0., That is after the reboot the desk is deleted everything (no show files, no fixture, no desk setup) seems bug ZOS2947 Thanks on the answer. Piero
Kirkup_xp Posted April 15, 2010 Author Report Posted April 15, 2010 Hi Piero This could be related to the battery inside your console being flat - the battery on the motherboard needs to be changed every 2-3 years. This is a standard CR2032 type 3.3v battery, which should be available from most electronics shops. Can you try changing this (contact our Support number +44 (0)1633 838088 if you need advice on how to do this) and then let us know if this fixes the problem? Thanks, Peter Peter Kirkup
pierotec Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 Hello Peter, thanks for the reply. The strange thing is that with the previous release 5.3.5 this problem has never even occurred once occasionally. This is a problem that I have already found in version 5.0.0 and 5.3.0 and later resolved with the release 5.3.5. I will try to change the battery, hoping to solve the problem. When the remote iphone will be available, it will be compatible with previous releases to 5.4.0 ......(when will available??) Thanks on the answer. Piero
Kirkup_xp Posted April 15, 2010 Author Report Posted April 15, 2010 Hi Piero No, you will need version 5.4.0 to run the iPhone remote. We're pretty sure we fixed that bug in 5.3.5 so thats why i'm curious if maybe this is a slightly different issue like the battery running out. After that's checked, we can double check our changes! Peter Peter Kirkup
pierotec Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Hi Peter, I did a downgrade to version 5.3.5 and everything works perfectly. However will change equally the battery for be sure. Piero
pierotec Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 Battery changed, but the problem persists Piero
Kirkup_xp Posted April 20, 2010 Author Report Posted April 20, 2010 Thanks for checking Piero - we've had another report of this from another Frog 2 user, so we're looking into a software fix for this now. I'm sorry for the delay in getting this sorted, we should have a fix soon. Peter Peter Kirkup
pierotec Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 Hi Peter, there was verified an crash with release 5.4.0 and iphone connected. Attached the file debug Piero debug.dat
pierotec Posted May 20, 2010 Report Posted May 20, 2010 Hi Peter, I wanted to know if there is an upcoming scheduled release of software to solve problems reported. Currently I use the release 5.3.5 that works well Piero
