K-Nine Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 The only implementation of SMPTE/MIDI on the frog series of desks is using the timecode to trigger memories on the memory stack. SMPTE/MIDI inputs are not available on the Frog/Fat Frog desks. However, if you could find a MIDI relay interface, you could use the MIDI signals to trigger a remote switch which could be configured to a GO action or GO to a specific memory, as required. NZ Posted January 5, 2004 Report Posted January 5, 2004 Just to clarify it is implemented on the bigger consoles in the range, Leap, Bull and Mambo Frogs. Quote Graham

Paul Posted January 13, 2004 Report Posted January 13, 2004 You need to buy the SMPTE/MIDI upgrade kit 00-364-00. You may also need a new base for the desk which has the holes punched for the sockets. See the price lists on the Zero88 website for further details. Quote
