NZ
Hi I am afraid the only way to run the bar as a single channel is to do it as an LTP value. Graham Quote Graham
Pipo
Hi Nyfan Do all 72 bulbs need to have a different address? Quote Den Pipo Pro Light Design
Nyfan
I have 2 times a matrix of 36 pars so maybe I can give 2 pars the same address each time. Although it will be much cooler if I use 72 separate addresses. Is there a possibility to adjust LTP values with a submaster? It's a bit frustrating because I have 1024 DMX channels!!!!! Marc. GLX
Why not make up four fixtures, each with 18 colour parameters, each parameter would be a par can, long winded way of doing it. Select the four fixtures, select colour, press FROG see what happens.
Nyfan
Maybe I'm going to give that a try, can be interesting!
GLX
Did it work? what kind of effects did the F.R.O.G have on the pars.
Nyfan
Hi tried the frog function on the dimmerbars, wasn't that great. The lights start fading upand down randomly! I now programmed it as a 36 light matrix and that's really cool.
K-Nine
Maybe that's because F.R.O.G stands for Fixture Random Output Generator Quote K-Nine : Technically Advanced Roving Dog In Space Bran Media | Myspace
X-Terminator
If you assing generic light cans as 'scrollers' than you have a problem (just like me) with your submasters. The lights will go on (because the LTP is triggered by it's value) but they won't turn off !! If you want to accomplish this you need to assign EACH generic light can under a separate fixture button. Thus meaning that you can only assing 96 generic light cans on a mambo frog.
Laubfrosch
A big hello together, I read through these posts and noticed a little frustration there. So please keep in mind the mambo frog is mainly a moving light desk. I suggested a special fixture with multiple htp (i.e. 3 or 6) a long time ago. K-Nine explained at that time a fixture like that could cause too much processing. But even the BullFrog has "only" 96 single HTP + 24 ML HTP possible. So if you need more than 96 single HTPs the frog range desks aren´t the one you should work with. @x-terminator Please check your patch. Assigning a scroller you have to watch which channel is the HTP and which the LTP Scroller! A small workaround for the LTP Problem on the Mambo. Why don´t you program a fx button as a kind of BLACK OUT!!? (all DimLTP´s at zero!!!) Keep all Dim LTP´s tagged during programming, so you´ll get a kind of good old master piece "swap function" ( only the last memory active). That´s all for now. cheers Sven Quote Sven Paulsen Klangfarbe Vienna
