caxman Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 Just getting used to the new TL Extra. I have several LED lights and have installed them as fixtures which are working well. Is it possible to crossfade between two memories so that the colours fade slowly from one to another? They just switch suddenly to the new setting. I can do it if I patch the lamp to the generic dimmers but this seems to defeat the object of a very good board. Can anyone help, please? Quote
Paul Posted April 28, 2009 Report Posted April 28, 2009 When you program memories, press SPECIAL and make sure the Colour setting is Fade(U) or Fade(D). The LEDs will then crossfade using either the Fade Up or Fade Down time. Quote
caxman Posted April 28, 2009 Author Report Posted April 28, 2009 Many thanks for that. All fine. I knew I must have missed something! Quote
FabainM Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 have a similar problem with LEDs. i want to crossfade between two submasters but also the LEDs only switches and dont fade like i want ( i want control the color with the submaster, and also the brightness. please help greets fabian Quote
Jon Hole Posted March 31, 2011 Report Posted March 31, 2011 The Jester ML submasters only control HTP channels, such as brightness. All LTP channels, such as colour, beamshape and position, are automatically triggered at 5%, and use the separate colour, beamshape and position timings you can program onto each submaster individually. FabainM Posted April 11, 2011 Report Posted April 11, 2011 thanks a lot is there a way to control the fadetime of a submaster with the hand? or can i only use the fade time of the submaster when i have programmed a rgb-dimm fixture and i only safe a color and dim on a fader. is there a way or not. greetz fabian Quote
Jon Hole Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 Only intensity is controlled by the physical level of the submaster, all other attributes, such as colour, are triggered at 5% and use the fade time programmed. Quote Jon Hole Global Product Manager, Systems and Control
