Lee B Posted December 19, 2003 Report Posted December 19, 2003 Just wondering if it is possible to add more faders onto the fatfrog desk from 48 to 60 by using the 12 intelligent fixtures channels, for generic lighting. I'm working with 84 channels of dimming (new instalation after the desk was bought!) and rather than pairing all channels to give me greater flexability, have those extra 12 channels? If so how do I do that? Cheers Lee Quote
K-Nine Posted December 19, 2003 Report Posted December 19, 2003 What you need to do is assign the 12 fixtures to a 'generic' fixture type. A generic fixture type consists of a single Brightness parameter. The Generic fixture types can be found under <CONVENTIONALS> in the fixture library. It doesn't matter which you use, as they all have the same personality. If you don't have a disk with the fixture library on, you can download the latest fixture library from this website or the downloads section of the Zero 88 website. K-Nine Posted December 19, 2003 Report Posted December 19, 2003 Don't forget that the fixture brightness parameters are set using the control wheel and that this sets virtual faders which are HTP mixed with other sources (Playback X and Submasters). See Frog Series Manual pages 4-5, 7-9 and 7-11. Quote K-Nine : Technically Advanced Roving Dog In Space Bran Media | Myspace
