crompton Posted January 19, 2009 Report Share Posted January 19, 2009 I have a Betapack 2, analogue only version, which is not working properly. When plugged in, without a desk or analogue cable, the dimmers sit at preheat level, the channel test buttons bring up the channels as expected. When I plug the desk in (both a zero 88 level6 and a Pulsar 6 way desk, re-wired zero 88) all channels come up to full (or close to full). Pulling the lead out returns the channels to zero. The contol voltage is set to positive. Putting a 9v battery between ground and the channel 1/2/3/4/5/6 control lines (with a bit of wire in the DIN socket) brings the channels up individually. I've run out of ideas on what to test next, one last step would be to swap the control boards with another unit. The unit is a few years old and until recently has been working fine.
