Franck Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 We recommend the use of 3M Touch Screens with the Frog 2. Here are the details: 15" M150 - Product: 41-81378-505 M150, Black, Resistive, USB http://www.3m.com/3Mtouchsystems/Products/...tors/M150.jhtml 17" M170 - Product: 41-91377-117 M170, Black, Resistive, USB http://www.3m.com/3Mtouchsystems/Products/...tors/M170.jhtml Quote
Kresten Bager Posted April 7, 2006 Report Posted April 7, 2006 Hi all, Has there been any tests with other touch screens than the 3M? Users are welcome to comment too... And besides having bigger text is there any advantage to buying the 17" or will it in the future be possible to change the resolution og the vga output to allow more information per screen? In Denmark the 3M MicroTouch M150 (USB) sells for about £ 610 the LG L1510SF is 'only' £ 305. Best regards, Kresten Bager Quote Kresten Bager Polyteknisk Scenelys www.scenelys.dk
Franck Posted April 8, 2006 Report Posted April 8, 2006 Hi Kresten, Talk to Poul from Gobo Lighting in CPH. He will give you a much better price for the 3M MicroTouch M150. Franck Quote
khuber Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Does anyone know if the ELOTouch 1715's work with the Frog 2? We are buying one for our new building and these are the monitors on the bid. Thanks, Karl Quote
Kresten Bager Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 Hi all, First off thanks for the Leap Frog 48 demo in Frankfurt - great to see the Frog range evolving. Second: Which external touch screens are supported (and tested)? Is it still only the 3M M150 and M170? I'm using the Frog 2 for a show in a weeks time and need to get a hold of some external screens. Thanks very much Best regards Kresten Quote Kresten Bager Polyteknisk Scenelys www.scenelys.dk
Kirkup_xp Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 At the moment yes, we have only used the 3M Microtouch range with the desk. After the move from Windows to Linux we have added more drivers but these remain untested at this stage. For the latest information, see THIS TOPIC. Quote Peter Kirkup
Kresten Bager Posted April 16, 2007 Report Posted April 16, 2007 Hey, Thanks for your swift reply. Can you tell me which drivers you have added so I have a 'plan B'. Thanks, Kresten Quote Kresten Bager Polyteknisk Scenelys www.scenelys.dk
D.Dar-Nell Posted July 25, 2007 Report Posted July 25, 2007 I bought a Protouch screen when I got the desk as I just read touch screen support on the website. However I did not read this forum till after, when I found out only 3M screens are supported. The cheapest I have found then so far is £414.13 I paid £440 for the protouch one which I am not sure how I can sell that yet. Does anyone know a cheaper price than that? karpet Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 I've got a 3M microtouch TFT (CT150), is there any way to connect this via a usb->serial interface? It doesn't seem to recognise on existing cable, which is based on this: http://www.prolific.com.tw/eng/Products.asp?ID=59 Quote
Kresten Bager Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Hey All, Just to let you know, I've tested the Elo ET1746L and it works great with the LeapFrog 96! Take care, Kresten Quote Kresten Bager Polyteknisk Scenelys www.scenelys.dk
patrick.s Posted March 14, 2009 Report Posted March 14, 2009 Just tested a LG L1530SF on Leap Frog 48, works great! Quote

Franck Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 LG's new T1710 is not compatible. I checked the T1710 in Dec 2011 and it doesn't work. Quote
Kirkup_xp Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 We are investigating adding support for the T1710 into the next version of ZerOS, however it does look like this might be quite a complex screen to make work. Watch this space. Quote Peter Kirkup
