Can i program a movement effect on a palette that are relative at one determinate position?? For example i've a static position on palette 1 2 3 4(front ..singer drum etc... position whit the fixture stopped) can i program on palette 5 6 7, just a movement effect like as circle or figure 8 etc that work on position 1 2 3 whit out a predeterminate first position? You need minimum software version 10.0 to do it (the latest is version 10.10 - upgrade to that if your desk isn't running it already since it clears up a number of problems with movement effects). Put the desk into partial programming mode. Then before recording your movement effect palettes, make sure that the Pan & Tilt parameters are untagged (hold down the WHEEL GROUP button and flick the pan/tilt wheels to untag them). It's well worth reading the release notes for the latest software for full details of the changes if you're upgrading. Quote
