l8 Posted December 11, 2003 Report Posted December 11, 2003 8O About a month ago I upgraded to the latest O/S for my Fat Frog . Everything went fine until I went to name a memory with the keyboard. When I typed in the name of the memory what came out was not what I typred in, it looked like I had closed my eyes and typed any old thing, just a random group of letters numbers and all sorts came up. I've tryed looking to se if there is a country setting for the keyboard but found nothing! It was working fine until the upgrade. Can you help me as I rely on naming memmories, submasters and soon pallets? Quote Out of all the things I've lost it's my mind I miss the most!
Laubfrosch Posted December 11, 2003 Report Posted December 11, 2003 Hi I8, sounds funny. We had an Frog Training last week and noticed the same symptom at one desk(You should have seen Franck´s eyes....* ). At least it was a crapped keyboard. Cheers Sven Quote Sven Paulsen Klangfarbe Vienna
l8 Posted December 11, 2003 Author Report Posted December 11, 2003 Thanks I'll try a new Keyboard to see if it helps, strange though! Quote Out of all the things I've lost it's my mind I miss the most!
KWR88 Posted December 11, 2003 Report Posted December 11, 2003 Dear Sir, Not come across this one before, there is no language options on the desk for the keyboard. If a different language keyboard is used it should map mostly the same except for a few of the keys. The most obvious thing that I can think of is a corrupted upgrade disk. It may be worth trying a second upgrade using a fresh blank floppy. There is another option from your profile I see that you are in Cardiff. We are based in Cwmbran so it may is possible to bring your desk and keyboard to us to have a look at it. Contact me for more details. Quote Regards, Keith Rogers Zero 88 Support: support@zero88.com
