Kirkup_xp Posted November 6, 2008 Report Posted November 6, 2008 Hi Kev No, the product you want for that is the Jester TL, which was previewed at PLASA - this allows you to control 200 channels of dimming + 30 moving lights using an in built keypad, with all the other functionality of the Jester ML built in. Hope this helps, Peter Quote Peter Kirkup
lxkev Posted November 6, 2008 Author Report Posted November 6, 2008 Hi pete Is this product available to buy at the mo (via stage electrics) and is there a massive diffrence in the price between the basic ml and the tl... I have to have it by next friday Quote I need a new job
Kirkup_xp Posted November 7, 2008 Report Posted November 7, 2008 Hi Kev Unfortunately the product is just entering production in the next couple of weeks, so you won't have any luck by next friday. List price is £1645. The basic ML is £999. Quote Peter Kirkup

lxkev Posted January 7, 2009 Author Report Posted January 7, 2009 Any Chance we could use a USB numeric PAD to program the 24 generic channel on The ML? Quote I need a new job
Kirkup_xp Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 Hi Kev This is unlikely as the code to make the syntax work is exclusive to a TL. We have logged it for consideration though. Quote Peter Kirkup
lxkev Posted January 22, 2010 Author Report Posted January 22, 2010 Hello Zero 88! Ourlovely ORB was sent away the other day to be fixed, so out came our little JESTER ML! We normal use this desk to do lighting demo on stage to students and workshops etc..... I know you know have the wonderful Jester TL for theatre programming, but this wasn't around when we bought the desk....Sometimes we have to use our JESTER ML while the orb is busy elsewhere or being fixed/updated. It be really fab if you could allow a usb keypad to access the 24 "dimmers". I can see how this may be close to the TL, but the ML would only allow 24 dimmers compared to the TL 200..... and....... I'm prob being stupid but is there no way of seeing the pallets on the screen... Thanks Kev Quote I need a new job
