Hi

I'm posting this on behalf of an amateur group I'm a memeber of. At some stage our lighting board (Alcora 12/24) has recieved a knock. A couple of the faders have been damaged, but most importantly the grand master and one of the sub masters. The board can still be used to opperate on some level but cannot be used to program memories.

My question therefore is, are damaged faders easy to repair? Is it something that can be done as an individual or would it need returning for repair? and lastly, are these sorts of repairs expensive?

Thanks in advance

Hi James

It's pretty easy to replace the faders if you have a knowledge of reworking PCBs and the parts are available from all Zero 88 distributors. If you're not confident in reworking the desk yourself then you can return the desk to a Zero 88 distributor where the charge should be no more than an hours labour plus a few pounds for the parts.

Hope this helps - if you need any more help or information, please do let us know.
