Hello,

Could someone tell me how to disable the "go" function automatically on a submaster after I started a chase please?

Or tell me something equivalent?

I tried to figure out how to do this but I'm at a loss.

Example:

Chase for some four Light Blinders:

1st Step: 100% 2nd Step: 0%.

Brightness Attack: Slow Decay

Shots: 1

Flash Button Action: Go.

Now I want to start the chase several times to the music - just pressing the Submaster Button once for one cycle.

With "Flash Button Action: Go" I have to press the button twice.

The first time to start the chase and the second time to "release" the Button.

Linked Macros don't work, because they disable the submaster immediately, so the "effect" of the chase is gone.

Moving the fader up and down works, but that takes to long for some kind of these effects.

Thank you for reading and your suggestions.

Best regards

Hi Christian

This is correct - normally you wouldn't want the second step to automatically release, as the second step is a chase step and could well contain intensity information - you wouldn't want the chase to be automatically released in this situation.

The only thing I can think of is to use the fader or simply flash the chase using the flash button.

Hope this helps,

Hi Peter,

Thank you for your answer.

It's a pity that this is not possible.

Unfortunately it is not possible to link macros in chase steps, that could be the solution.

If I have some leisure time I try to figure out a workaround for the problem.

I tough about a memory with a jump in the stack during the songs where I would use this effect.

But this is not that easy.

Best regards

Christian
