Gavin H
With the development of PDA software, does this mean a Laptop (Windows XP) software is also in development? Thanks.
Kirkup_xp
Hi Gavin The remote software is due for launch in a couple of months, and is currently undergoing testing. The software will only function on a Pocket PC device and not on a Laptop - for a Laptop you want Phantom which is the offline editor. I hope this helps, Quote Peter Kirkup
Gavin H
If i have installed Phantom, can it use ethernet to control lights from the laptop? Or does the word "offline" mean that i can only edit shows, not run them from my laptop?
Kirkup_xp
Hi Gavin You can only edit shows offline - there is no link between Phantom and the consoles themselves. We have talked about adding such a link, but that won't be in the next version. Peter Quote Peter Kirkup
Mazyk
Gavin H recommended laptop feature which I agree it would be really useful thing. if zero88 engineers will make this feature I recommend that they take a look how yamaha m7cl digital mixing console have this solved. it is the whole mixing desk on computer. my friend has that console and he mixes thing directly from computer. i have tried it too and it is really great. regards
Carl Ehrhardt
Is there a way to use more than one screen to see lot of informations? On a leapfrog if I use the palettes i have my touch screen completely in use. So i can’t see the memories, subs (ok they are on the sub-displays) but also very important – the output-window! If i can use a PC / laptop to view some of these informations it would be very helpful. Kirkup_xp
Hi Carl The way I do this on the Leap Frog is to open the windows I want at the time by pressing the Memories, Outputs, etc buttons when I want to see that information. The Frog 2 has 2 monitor displays, as does ORB. We have discussed adding the ability to view displays on a PC application at a later date. Your comments have been added to the discussion. I hope this helps, Peter Quote Peter Kirkup
