Ive recently managed to get my hands on a old Lightmaster XL. (Make your own mind up if thats a good thing or not!) After replacing the internal batteries and a bit of testing confirming the thing was actually working, i noticed a niggling little problem. The green status LEDS above the 12 sliders don't light!! The odd thing is the yellow LEDS beneath work......

Anyone heard of this problem before? Or even better know what i need to do  . Admittedly its not really that important the green LEDS work. Its just annoying and i was assigned the job of fixing it. (Part of a group) So i want to do a thorough job. :P

The green LED are take direct from the analogue outputs. It would indicate a problem with those as well as there are few faults that would stop the LED from working but leave the anaolgue output operating.

Please e-mail me on krogers@zero88.com to continue as it will be quicker.

Thanks very much - Fixed the problem

For those of you who care:

We had to replace a transistor, and 3 logic chips. Also a single green led had died so that was replaced as well.

Its working very well now and we are considering using the lightmaster as an effects board, to control mirror balls, smoke machines etc etc etc. :P
