sicole
Seem to be quite active on here at the moment! Right, we have setup approx 10 subs on the Leapfrog 96, all work fine. There are 7 subs directly programmed as scenes, and there are 3 subs as chases that have been transferred from memory. If we are to name those subs and change the fade times, when we switch the desk off and on again, the name goes back to Submaster 1-26 for example and the fade time changes (to what we think is the fade time of the memory but didnt get time to check that out). Is this a known issue? Thanks again! Si Quote backSTAGE Theatre Supplies LTD Specialists in Lighting / Staging / Consultancy
K-Nine
Just checked it out on the desk here and it appears to be a bug. (Ref. LF-1898) When you power cycle the desk the transferred chase memory still appears to run correctly on the submaster, but the name has reverted to the default name (rather than the memory number and memory name) and the fade up/down times are displayed as zero (the submaster default) on the Submasters window even though the outputs themselves still fade up/down in the original 3 seconds. NOTE: On the Leap Frog 48/96 desks you can program a chase directly onto a submaster if you wish, rather than transferring a chase memory onto the submaster. sicole
Thanks for confirming I am not quite mad yet. I have programmed chases directly onto the subs but I was testing out the theory with transferring! What about the reverse scenario then? Programming a chase on a sub and transferring to memory - does that work with no bugs? Cheers Quote backSTAGE Theatre Supplies LTD Specialists in Lighting / Staging / Consultancy
K-Nine
What about the reverse scenario then? Programming a chase on a sub and transferring to memory - does that work with no bugs? At the moment you cannot transfer a chase programmed directly on a submaster to a memory. Although this may be possible in the future, there are tracking issues to consider ... When you transfer a memory onto a submaster and play back the submaster, you will only see the changes or channels that are tagged/programmed in the memory, as opposed to the accumulation of all the previous memories if you played back the memory from the memory stack.
