swordfish Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 I've got a suggestion for a new softwareversion. Is it possible, that you integread a function in the run mode so that you can change the output level of each channel also when the memorys are active. Maybe be pressing shift and the fader of the channel you want, so that you can grab the output of the channel which is programmed in the memory and fade it down. At the moment it's only possible, because of HTP, to rise the outputlevel higher than it's programmed in the memory. If you change the memory, everything should be putted out how it is programmed in the memory. Sorry for this bad english, I hope you understand it. Greetings Heiko Bruggner Quote
Paul Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 This has been logged as a suggestion for a future software version: JES-1438 - Reducing channel output levels in Run Mode. Quote
Steve Scammell Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 Hi .... When in run mode on the Jester is it possible to fade down a channel ?? .... I've played around with skipping to the current memory in run, then going to program mode and 'grabbing' the channel to then fade it out, but then if you hit <overwrite> you jump to the next stored memory (not good when running a show). If you go back to 'run' mode then the channel is still there. It's easy to manually add a channel for a scene in run mode, but taking one out seems impossible .... Any ideas v much appreciated .... Paul Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 The problem with Program Mode automatically incrementing to the next programmed memory after a Program operation was fixed back in version 1.7. Upgrade your desk to the latest version (software and instructions HERE) and you'll get this fix. The suggestion to be able to reduce levels without leaving Run Mode has been logged for consideration - see above. Quote
