Franck
Unzip the fixture library on your hard disk. In Phantom Frog… change “Floppy Path” to that folder on your hard disk. Load the fixture files from that folder. It works on my PC. Fixtures are here: http://support.zero88.com/main/en/download/
ryandell
Hi, Well they loaded ok because i reloaded the files with a different floppy. And also I was browsing the internet for minimac files and found a minimac profile with a dimmer modification. I cant find it anywhere. Does anyone know where this file is. Thanks For the replies Ryan
ryandell
Hi, Im not talking rubbish either there was actually a dimmer modification on the profile minimac, could this of been on the zero88 website or just a random fixture file I found. Thanks Ryan
Kirkup_xp
To modify the fixture file yourself, you need to load it into the fixture tools (use File, New, File, Import)... select the Minimac you want to import, then load it into the tools. Now double click on the Shutter channel and rename it Dimmer. Change the Beamshape dropdown to Brightness, and set the default to 49 (which is the "Full" brightness for MiniMacs). Now save that file to a floppy disk and away you go Quote Peter Kirkup

ryandell
Hi, Right Here is the file but before you use this understand the minimac profiles sometimes run on HTI lamps so really they are not meant to be dimmed . I'm gonna give it a go though here is the file Thanks Ryan
Kirkup_xp
The dimming on a MiniMac uses the shutter but closes it slowly instead of snapping it, so you should be fine with the fixture profile you created, as long as the fixture has been set to dimmable.
