Hi. Our new jester 24/48 arrived last week. The software-version was 1.7, now i have updated to 2.0.

By testing the desk, i found that in "Run Mode" the flash buttons can´t be used to flash single channels. (Flash buttons on preset "a" dont seem to work in Run Mode, Buttons on "b" flash Submasters 01-24 OR 25-48.

In the german manual, issue 1.0, 73-408-00, page 28 (chapter "RUN MODE") is written, that the FLASH BUTTONS can flash single channels in run-mode. In the english version of the manual (Issue 1.0 and 1.1, page 28) is written, that the channel flash buttons are used to flash individual submasters.

Because i am using desks more in the rock´n roll- (live-) way (without memory stacks), i would prefer to have single channel flash control in the run-mode.

Any chance to get this feature (back?) (single channel flash 01-24 OR 25-48 on the flash buttons of preset "a" in Run Mode PLUS Submaster flash 01-24 OR 25-48 on the flash buttons of preset "b")

kind regards

It looks like you held down SHIFT and pressed the PAGE A button, locking the Preset A buttons into Auxiliary mode (on the monitor, it shows AUXLOCKED). To unlock, hold down SHIFT and press the PAGE A button. Now you should regain single channel flash buttons :)

hi peter, you´re right.

And i was wondering about the flashing LED 01-24 left of the "page

A"-button...

Maybe a hint for dummies in the next issue of the manual: "IF YOU LOST THE SINGLE-CHANNEL FLASHBUTTON-ACTION..."

works now, thank you
