Hello again,

is it possible to chase brigtness channel of some fixtures ? - I used shutter before, but its not the same effect when fading.

My desk works in partial mode.

I want to realize a chase fading the brightness up and down ...

Yes, you can have a brightness chase on a submaster. Record the chase memory and then transfer it onto a submaster.

Note - that fixture brightness is HTP mixed from all sources which include the virtual faders, submasters and playback X.

As it's fixtures intensities you wish to chase, you have to remember that , when you record the chase, do not tag the fixtures (or un-tag them after bringing up the intensity, prior to recording a step). This allows you to only record the intensities, with no other information, allowing you to use this chase with any positional/beamshape/colour information you have stored in other subs. (Assuming there is no intensity information on these subs, or that you keep the level of the sub down so that the intensity level of the movement sub does not go higher than the chase intensities)

Hope this makes sense!

Thats it,

Thank U - It works very fine ! I haven´t understand, that fixture brightness is stored anyway (tagged and untagged) before I have tried to store brightness by pressing brightness button

It seemed to be wierd to get a chase without LTP data

but now I know it and it´s great !

Thank U again

If I may quote from the Frog Series Operating Manual, the book according to Memories, Chapter 4 Page 7 ...

Partial Memories

The output levels of generic and fixture brightness channels are always recorded regardless of the fixture tagging and attribute selection.

To record only the brightness levels of fixtures, all fixtures must be untagged prior to pressing the PROGRAM button.

Hello K-Nine,

sometimes (late at night day before a tour) it´s hard to read a manual even if it is about a cool frog.

You are right if you think I didn´t read the manual intent.

But now I will read it for sure ;-)

Thanks for that grat desk and it´s precisely manual

Please don´t program a help function - this would cost to much memory - and I need every bit

Still reading the manual 8O
