Strobe and Frog2

I have Martin atomic 3000 strobe and frog 2 desk. How can I make the strobe flash in the beat of the music. If i could record a single flash as a cue it should be possible, but i don't know who to do just the single flash. Or if it even possible?

Set up a cue stack with two cues, one where the strobe is off, and the other where it is on permanently (not strobing). Convert the cue stack to a chase.

 

If you have an audio input to the desk - set the chase drive to bass, if not set the chase drive to Beat and use the GO button to set the tempo when playing back the chase.

The Martin Atomic 3000 should strobe once if you just set the fixture at full, so you would need to program two cues in a stack - an at full, and an at 0. Run that at twice the tempo of the music and you'll get the effect you're after (if you run it at the tempo of the music, then you'll only get a flash every second beat!)

So it's not possible to make the chase drive to bass which would make your job easier? Thanks for advice anyway.

Yes, you can set the chase drive to Bass - see Chase section of the Cue Stack Setup Window.

If you do that it will flash only every second time.
