everett_chris Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 We are considering purchase of a Frog 2, and I'm curious if this can be done. On the back panel there is a "Remote Input" connector "providing 6 remote switches" How are these utilized? Can they remotly fire a cue? Can the be assigned to a UDK? I can't find anything in the manual... One of the requirements for my (church)application is for a remote keypad or switch that can fire a cue, so if there is another way to do this, that would work as well. Thanks in advance... Quote
Kirkup_xp Posted May 20, 2006 Report Posted May 20, 2006 Hi Chris At present the remote input on the back of the Frog 2 is not implemented in software. It is something we are looking at adding in the near future though, so keep an eye on this forum. Have you considered our Chilli dimming system to work alongside your desk, which enables you to recall upto 12 memories stored within the dimmers from remote panels. Quote Peter Kirkup
everett_chris Posted May 22, 2006 Author Report Posted May 22, 2006 Thanks for the reply. We currently have a dimmer system which I'd rather not replace (better to use that money on control/fixtures) It will be awhile before we purchase, so I'll be sure and check back. Quote
