Images in Signatures

Hi,

I wondered if we are allowed images in our signatures? I noticed some users have them I just wondered what the recommended size if we are allowed them?

Err, we don't have a policy on this at the moment. To be honest I can't remember seeing any images in signatures yet that would require us to regulate this in any way.

 

If we were to introduce some rules in the future, they'd probably be pretty similar to those that The Blue Room use.

 

For now, yes you can have images, but they shouldn't be so large to download that they spoil the experience for the poor souls on dialup, or make for too much of a distraction when reading a topic. Also don't put anything offensive in the images, or do anything naughty like use off-site image links to track visitors to the forum.

 

This is something we're happy to listen to members views on, so if anyone feels strongly one way or the other, speak up.
