Lewis
I am a student @ St. Thomas More School, Willenhall. Our school currently has a Zero88 Frog lighting desk. I am wondering how you connect a sound board up to it and cause the lights to change to the beat of the music? :?:
K-Nine
Hi, You will need to connect a sound source to the audio input on the back panel of the desk. Then program a chase memory and set the Drive modifier to Bass. When you output the memory, the bass beat of the music will trigger each step of the chase. Kirkup_xp
You need an audio feed terminating in a 1/4" Jack. You plug this in to the "sound to light" connector on the back of the desk. When plotting chases, change the trigger from "auto" to "vari" or "bass" and the chase will react to the sound. Hope this helps. Edit: I hate people who type faster than me! Guest
You have to connect audio input from the frog to the audio output on yor mixer (master 1/2 or aux) DO NOT CONNECT IT DIRECTLY FROM YOUR AMPLIFIER OUTPUTS? and make sure that the source-fader(cd1/cd2/phono,...) is set to max. Then set the modifier on the desk to BASS. If any problems contact me. PLD@PANDORA.BE
l8
Does it matter if the jack is mono or stereo? Quote Out of all the things I've lost it's my mind I miss the most!

Pipo
just a question, to which bass frequency does the desk react and is it possible to change it? Have had some problems because to me it seems the desk reacts to any kind of sound or do I drink to much on job?
