Jeff M. Posted August 25, 2003 Report Posted August 25, 2003 I am looking to setup a lock code on my Fat Frog but do not have the factory code as of yet. Have heard it's within the serial #. Quote
K-Nine Posted August 26, 2003 Report Posted August 26, 2003 Locking and Unlocking the Desk Locking and unlocking the desk requires a 4 digit lock code (eg 1234). The default lock code for the desk is 0000. The lock code can be changed in Super User. The submaster flash buttons or external keyboard can be used to enter the 4 digit lock code. Each desk also has its own unique code based on the serial number which will unlock the desk. Contact your dealer or Zero 88 for details. For further information - see Frog Series Operating Manual - Page 7-3. Quote K-Nine : Technically Advanced Roving Dog In Space Bran Media | Myspace
sp Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 Hi I have a slight problem (concerned with the lighting desk ). We recently hired out our school hall (and lighting with a Bullfrog). However, the person using the desk locked it, and now cannot remember the code! I have heard that there is a special unlock code for each desk, based on the serial number. So what should I do, who should I contact? It is rather urgent, as we have a concert coming up soon that will certainly require programming! Thanks sp Quote
Yves Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 did he change the code or just locked the desk? you can try the default unlock code. It's 0000. Quote
sp Posted May 20, 2004 Report Posted May 20, 2004 no definitely not the defaults. He said he changed it to his own but he can't remember it! sp Quote
_chris_ Posted February 14, 2005 Report Posted February 14, 2005 What is the default lock code on the fatfrog? Quote

iamchristuffin Posted May 9, 2007 Report Posted May 9, 2007 on a similar note, how do i reset the desk lock?? a colleague of mine refuses to tell any of us what the code is, and he's leving for university soon, so how do we reset it to stop prying kids destroying our valuable desgning?? Quote
Paul Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 Each desk has a master unlock code based on the desk's serial number, which we can give you if you call the office. Be prepared though to have your authority and identity challenged, since we have to be sure we're speaking to someone who has good reason to need the unlock code, not just one of those "prying kids"... Quote
iamchristuffin Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 what do you mean by authority and identity challenged? The desk was bought in 2001, and the lighting chap i leaving school this year, taking all knowledge of the current code with him! Im taking over from him, and I need the code to stop said prying kids! Does it just mean asking what school I'm at, my name, what? Quote
Paul Posted May 11, 2007 Report Posted May 11, 2007 There wouldn't be a lot of point having a lock code if any anonymous person could just call us up and get the master unlock code for a desk now would there... Quote
smence Posted May 27, 2008 Report Posted May 27, 2008 I am the light tech for our school in NZ. We have a Fat Frog which has served us well recently, however the lock code was changed at some point during it's life... The guy who changed it has forgotten and now left the school. Is there a way to reset it? Thanks SMence Quote
Kirkup_xp Posted May 27, 2008 Report Posted May 27, 2008 Your best bet is to email support@zero88.com for details - we'll get in touch with information about how to unlock the desk, and about what we need to do so. Hope this helps, Peter Quote Peter Kirkup
