sicole Posted February 5, 2004 Report Posted February 5, 2004 Hi, I use an Illusion 120 and recently delved into the area of macros. On a show night before the audience come in, I go through each channel fading them up to 100% to verify that they are ok (as a lamp is more than likely going to blow when it is cold). Is there a way to setup a macro to go through each channel and fade up to 100% and fade down again? If not a macro, maybe some other automated way of doing it? It becomes hard work when you have over 50 channels to go through!! I tried doing it but could not get lamps to fade up, just come up to full straight away which increases the risk of blowing the lamp. Thanx in anticipation. K-Nine Posted February 5, 2004 Report Posted February 5, 2004 The easiest way is probably to program a chase memory in which each step contains a single channel at 100%. Set the attack modifier to fade, and adjust the speed as required. Save this as say memory 999 and then run this memory to check out all your channels.
