Guest Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 Hi, Our theater was just (very generously) donated an Illusion 120 which appears to be in excellent shape. The original owner was Texas Scenic Supply in Austin, Texas. I have three questions: 1) MIDI implementation: How is MIDI implemented? I cannot find any mention of it in the manual after three read-thrus, save an indication of where the i/o is located on the back panel. 2) Memory What kind of memory is used in this board? Can memory be added and recognized by the OS? OK, that was only 2-1/2 questions. Even better. Best regards, Bruce Richardson Bruce@projectxtheatre.com Quote
K-Nine Posted September 1, 2003 Report Posted September 1, 2003 The functionality for SMPTE and MIDI implemented on the Illusion 120 is using the time code to trigger memories on the memory stack (see operating manual Issue 2 pages 5-19 and 5-20) There are various types of memory in the desk itself, but these are not user-configurable.
