Carl Ehrhardt Posted June 15, 2003 Report Posted June 15, 2003 It would be usful to get the possibility to configurate a submaster as master for some chanels (eg all lights in front of the maincurain). then it is easy to make a blackout without the whole stage is dark. K-Nine Posted June 16, 2003 Report Posted June 16, 2003 It is possible to program channel data directly onto a submaster. For example: [Channel 1] [Thru] [10] [On] [save As ...] [submaster] [1.1] [Enter] Is this the function you were looking for :?: Quote K-Nine : Technically Advanced Roving Dog In Space Bran Media | Myspace
NPhillips Posted June 16, 2003 Report Posted June 16, 2003 Sounds like Carl is looking for an inhibitive submaster (working in reverse). I would have to agree. In your example K-Nine, channels 1 thru 10 would be at zero (unless captured as a captured channel 8) ) unless the submaster inhibiting them was placed at full (or any point in between). This is useful for many reasons especially in situations as described by Carl as well as with ML's. This would be a submaster type. Quote

The thing with the inhibitive submaster! Thats the word i was looking for! Thanks Quote Carl Ehrhardt Technical Director Kellerbühne St.Gallen CH-9000 St.Gallen Switzerland www.kellerbuehne.ch
NPhillips Posted June 19, 2003 Report Posted June 19, 2003 No problem, but the above post from K-Nine is a reference number regarding the review of the suggested feature "inhibitive submaster". Currently the Illusion 500 does not have the provision for such a submaster. Quote
