clearing a pallet

When i try to clear a pallet the desk starts saving the show!

Whenever you clear a palette, the desk software has to go through all the memories, submasters (and SX buttons on a Mambo Frog) and replace any references to the palette you are clearing with the absolute values for the fixture parameters programmed in that palette.

 

This is so that the memories, submasters and SX buttons will output the same values. As this may involve changing a lot of internal data, the software then saves the show to flash memory on the desk.
