Turning On?

I have bought a 24/48-channel Frog for our school. The manual states that the console should be turned on "at the mains". Is there a conventional on/off switch that I can't see? At the moment students are simply unplugging the board or turning off the switch on the extension cable. Help! Thanks. :?

Hi,

The Frog desks have an inline external power supply unit ... a black 'brick'.. with one end that plugs into the back of the desk, the other end into a normal mains socket. The easiest way to turn the desk on and off is via the switch next to the mains plug, the desk does not have its own on/off switch.

Personally if I don't want it off at the plug socket, I just pull the plug out of the back of the desk.

I don´t want to panic, but there is a risk of fire, when you don´t disconnect the PSU from it´s power plug.

@GLX

its a question of faith in all kind of electronic stuff.

I disconnect my TV,PC,Lamps etc. from mains when I leave my flat.
