hi,

we are considering buying 5 or so colour scrollers to fit FOH on source 4's,

We have a Zero88 frog - i know we can't control them on this desk, but we may be wanting to get a fat frog instead. How easy is it to program and control the scrollers from this desk (bearing in mind these are for a school, and so will be used by students) can the colours be programmed in so we can use them as a preset?

There are a few different ways you can set the scrollers up on the FatFrog, but whichever way you choose they will all work in a similar fashion.

You can select and program colour states in isolation, or as a part of a lighting state. The colours can be saved as submasters, in memories or as colour palettes, allowing you to use them as colour presets for fast programming.

It should be fairly straightforward.

Hi,

Controlling scrollers with the frogs (fat, leap and bull) is not a problem. I use the preset method. This makes it is easy to access the colours, just press two buttons at the same time. This will also allow you to change, move around or delete submasters without losing the "presets" or should I say pre-defined values.

Also I find myself running out of submasters on the Bullfrog so anything I can do to save these. (Not a big fan of the page principle as there is only place for one or two strips of writing tape :-) ).

A very happy new year to all at Zero88, and all other Frog users!

I have 22 scrolers in my rig so i fount it easier to programme these on the submasters then droping them onto a page of the playback (Page 9)you can have 12 colours and can lable them with ease.

I find this better because some times we use movers
