LTN Productions Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 Can someone tell us how to reset the desk. By this i mean the whole desk, fixtures, patch, pallete etc but retain desk fade times, without doing them one at a time? Is this possible? if not can i suggest it. Clearing them individually is a bit of a pain. Quote
K-Nine Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 Clear to Default will clear all the memories, submasters, SX buttons, palettes and groups on the desk. It will also reset all the Desk Setup parameters to their default values. If you want to clear all the memories, submasters, SX buttons, palettes and groups but retain the desk setup data, which includes the default fade times then use Clear All. LTN Productions Posted June 9, 2005 Author Report Posted June 9, 2005 Does this also clear all the fixtures from the patch, & set the DMX back to 1-1 so we can start a new show from fresh? Quote
K-Nine Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 The Desk Setup Data contains the following information ... Desk Defaults (memory and submaster fade times, actions, triggers etc.) Fixture assignments, pan/tilt options, and DMX patch Program Mode Remote Switch Setup Frog Screen Setup Timecode Setup A Clear All will NOT affect any of this desk setup data A Clear to Default will clear all the desk setup data and return all values to desk defaults. Hope that makes things clearer. Quote K-Nine : Technically Advanced Roving Dog In Space Bran Media | Myspace
JonHirsh Posted June 12, 2005 Report Posted June 12, 2005 if you own the board and you do lots of shows what you should do is just when you are done setting your base settings save it to disk like it was a show and use it as a base settings disk this is what most rental houses do for there rental consoles JH Quote
