Pipo Posted May 18, 2005 Report Posted May 18, 2005 Can the frog2 directly be connected to wysiwyg without the wyg-it box' via the ethernet-connection? Cheers Quote Den Pipo Pro Light Design
K-Nine Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 Currently, the Frog 2 Ethernet port outputs DMX data over ArtNet. We will be developing our Ethernet support further over the coming months. Quote K-Nine : Technically Advanced Roving Dog In Space Bran Media | Myspace
Pipo Posted June 15, 2005 Author Report Posted June 15, 2005 Hi K-nine Have heard from Artistic Licence that they are developing a software-driver that would connect Artnet to Wysiwyg. So you will be able to connect the desk directly without interfaces. Cheers Wouter Quote Den Pipo Pro Light Design
lxkev Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 Spoke to artistic, they say they're having probs with cast...... So it might not ever happen. But if you looking for a cheap way of doing it....Buy a cheap enttec usb interface £30, check their support forum, and it tells you how to make it work with wyg. Defo works on version 12 - 14 Hope the guys at 88 don't mind me saying the above :? Quote I need a new job

The user agreement doesn´t state you can´t implement non-cast plugins or use only the Cast Wyg-It interface. If you buy the software (without Wyg-It) and bought the Enttec dongle there's nothing wrong. Guess it'll be fixed in a new release somewhere, don't think the Cast guys would want all of their users buying Enttec dongles instead of the Wyg-It. By the way; what does "defo" mean?
