Group/F4 Buttons

I'm not sure where to post it...so I'll put it in here...

 

Which function has the F4 button on the other desks than Fat Frog :?: None I suppose :?:

You are correct - on desks other than the Fat Frog it has no defined function (at the moment) ... but with so many suggestions and ideas that are still to be considered and reviewed, I'm sure it won't be long before we use it

Hmmm...yeah...that's what I'm afraid of a bit....what will happen then with the Fat Frogs Group function...I can't imagine, that an additional Group button on the Fat Frog will be part of the next update.

As far as I am aware, we have never removed any functionality in all the various software updates we have issued, and I doubt very much we will do so in the future.

 

If the F4 button is used in the future we will have to consider how this affects the group functionality on the fat frog.

Maybe pressing F3/F4 button could activate Group functionality then.....until these key combination is need by an other useful function. :mrgreen:

Why rack zero88´s brain ?

when zero88 decide on bringing up a feature they will choose a usable and reliably key combination as they done before:

 

i.e. pressing F1 and color/beamshape/position locks the preset screen

pressing F1 and fixture button shows a DMX output screen of 6 fixtures.

 

there are only very few 3 button combinations until know...

Slight correction to Haytech ...

 

Press and hold F1 and then press a fixture selection button : This displays the Fixture Outputs Screen on the monitor which shows 12 consecutive fixtures starting at the fixture selected

It was just an idea..., 'cause it would be no problem pressing both keys with only one finger. *gg*
