sp Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 If I've locked the Outputs screen to the monitor display, when I preview a submaster, why does that appear on the monitor, even though Outputs is locked to it? Is that correct, or a bug? sp Quote
Paul Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 The Preview window is a pop-up (albeit a full screen pop-up), rather than one of the main background screens (Memories, Submasters, Outputs, SXs, Palettes, Groups, Fixture Outputs). That's why you see it even when the main background screen is locked. Is this just an observation, or a bug you need fixed? Would you prefer all pop-ups to be disabled on a locked monitor display, or just the Preview pop-up? Quote
sp Posted April 13, 2005 Author Report Posted April 13, 2005 I don't mind particularly, it's just that if you have locked a screen to the monitor, that is obviously what you want to look at. It just confused me that I thought I was looking at the actual outputs, and found that certain values being output weren't showing . Then I read the title at the top of the screen, and all becomes clear... Yes more of an observation really, but if others also feel it should be changed then I think it should be. As I say, you've locked the screen for a reason. sp Quote
ice Posted April 13, 2005 Report Posted April 13, 2005 The background screen should be locked, not the popup ones. At least that's my opinion; leave it as it is. Quote > 500 posts, time for a new T-shirt?
