Ive been through the manual, and cannt seem to find any info on how the chase modifiers actually work. I can work out direction etc, but what is "Vari" and "Beat Drive" in the manual says to set it with both Bass and Man LEDs lit, what is beat drive if it's different from just Bass.

Also what is the "Attack" control for and how is it used, if it's in the manual, please point me at it, if it's not could it be added down the line. Perhaps somewhere near page 3-8.

Thanks

The Beat Drive was added in Version 9 of the software.

The Attack modifier determines the transition of the brightness channels between steps of the chase. The options are snap, slow attack, slow decay and crossfade. I suggest you set up a simple brightness chase and then look at the results of each of the different attacks .. it should become clear :D

The time between the two button presses determines the 'beat' or speed of the chase.

Press the button once and then again soon after ... gives a fast chase, press the button once wait a few seconds then press it again ... slow chase.

Set up a simple brightness chase and then practice tapping the Step button at different intervals :)
