TomBrien Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 Can't find out any where how many DIN connecters to dimmers the Fat frog has, I would assume 4, would that be right? if less how is connected to multiple dimmers? Thanks Tom Quote
sp Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 Hi The Fatfrog has no analogue din connectors, it provides one universe of DMX, via 5-pin XLR connection. If your dimmers have no DMX connection you'd need a demux to convert from DMX to an analogue signal. sp Quote
sp Posted February 25, 2005 Report Posted February 25, 2005 Take a look at the manual here. Page 82 shows the Frog's connections. Hope this helps, sp Quote
TomBrien Posted February 25, 2005 Author Report Posted February 25, 2005 Thank thought that much was the thing looks like i will have to put in for a demux as well, hmmm me wonders if a could get one cheap of my old work Quote
sam.henderson Posted February 26, 2005 Report Posted February 26, 2005 Don't forget although the Frog only has 1 DMX universe there are 2 outputs if you want to send one line to dimmers or demux and another to movers/ smoke machines or whatever. Sam Quote Sam for a interactive training suport program on how to use your fat frog effectivly why not look at my frog training program-
