The dwell time determines how long the current memory is output for, after completing it´s fade.

The Dwell time is really only applicable to a memory in the memory stack (playback X) if the following memory has an automatic trigger.

For example:

Memory 1 has a GO trigger, fade up/down time of 3 seconds and a dwell time of 27 seconds.

Memory 2 has an automatic trigger and a fade up/down time of 3 seconds.

Select memory 1 and press the GO button.

Memory 1 will fade up and reach it's programmed levels in 3 seconds. The outputs will then remain at the levels programmed in memory 1 for 27 seconds. Memory 2 will then trigger automatically fade in in 3 seconds.
