Dr Chinchilla Posted January 31, 2005 Report Posted January 31, 2005 Can someone quickly explain what 'Shot' and 'Dwell' mean in the memory sections and how and what they are used for? Thanks. Quote
Haytech Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 Hi Dr Chinchilla, Chase memories have an additional parameter called shots whitsch determines how many times the chase runs when it is triggered from playbackX or submaster [...]The dwell time determines how long the current memory is output for, after completing it´s fade. K-Nine Posted February 1, 2005 Report Posted February 1, 2005 The Dwell time is really only applicable to a memory in the memory stack (playback X) if the following memory has an automatic trigger. For example: Memory 1 has a GO trigger, fade up/down time of 3 seconds and a dwell time of 27 seconds. Memory 2 has an automatic trigger and a fade up/down time of 3 seconds. Select memory 1 and press the GO button. Memory 1 will fade up and reach it's programmed levels in 3 seconds. The outputs will then remain at the levels programmed in memory 1 for 27 seconds. Memory 2 will then trigger automatically fade in in 3 seconds. Quote K-Nine : Technically Advanced Roving Dog In Space Bran Media | Myspace
