Frog is much more useful if you use the Frog screen to set limits. If you limit colour between 0 and 255, on a CMY fixture, and "detag" one of the three channels, you can create a random chase between two colours, which is (IMHO) much more useful than totally random colours.

Something for a future update would possibly be a way of setting limits on a per-attribute basis.

The FROG function isn't really meant for the show, it's for the inevitable disco afterwards on smaller gigs. It means you can go to the bar, rather than run the disco...

As I recall the desks were named Frog before K-Nine came up with the matching FROG acronym for the Auto-chase function. Other suggested names for the desk were Prospero, Super A&E and DX-K. Not so catchy really...

It could have been worse, the development name for the Illusion desk was George...

I think Paul must have spent most of the weekend thinking those up :P

The desks were called Frogs before I renamed the "Auto-Chase" function to the FROG function :)

There were various other working names before Graham decided on the names Frog and Fat Frog.
