thumbwheel for fadetimes

Perhaps there is already a famous frog reference number assigned to this issue, but Lo, what would be the proper searchphrase? How many results in how many pages will come up? Just another shelling:

 

It's very labourous to edit fade up & downtimes with these ^v+_ keys (on the desk or a keyboard) when programming many scenes. Now three wheels exist on my fatfrog...

Fast turning for minutes, normal for seconds, slow for tenths. Any wheel is a good wheel. Another wheel for selecting the fade p or down field (any place here within). Any other wheel is a good wheel.

You can always type the times in directly from an external keyboard ... this maybe not as good as using the wheels but is certainly quicker than moving through the three parts of the fade time field and using the cursor keys to set the time

I'm sure that's somewhere in the manual, but ehh... on page... (diligent paperflapping noises). With other words (if it's very hard to find), what's the syntax?

Is it like...

Move 'V''V' to the fade up time and enter (kb) "00:30:0" (30 seconds) and move 'V''V''V' to the fade down time and enter (kb) "01:20:0". Move '^''^''^''^''^' back to the next field.

Entering numeric values from the external keyboard is covered on page 7-14 of the manual

 

Fade times may be entered in seconds only, seconds and tenths, or minutes, seconds and tenths.
