I've got generic lights on submaster 1, and a mac chase set up on submaster 2. If i do each submaster separately, they both work fine, but if i put up the macs, then the generics, the macs stop the chase and go back to their pre-programmed state!

Hard to explain but hopefully makes sense! :?

Try to program in partial mode, should work, make sure to "untag" the macs when you are en partial mode, then it is possible to program only the generics, see the manual...

Move while dark! -> GOGOGO! :D

Thank you Zero for the FR 5402 :)

Hi sam,

as Martin explained right the desk have to be in partial mode:

Desk Setup - programming mode - partial

and all fixtures have to be untagged press fixture button until yellow LED stay´s lit while you program new chases or scenes, because the submaster call and send stored LTP values (position/beamshape/colour) at 5% output.

It is possible that a submaster calls only one of the LTP values:

set your "new scene - par 1 & 3 scanners go to red" press colour button and program.

hope this helps

Hi Sam,

YES, you have to....

Another "Work Around" is to set the LTP Trigger at 0% for the "Generic Sub".

Watch the brightness values. They are still on the Sub as programmed!
