gress Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 Have 2 Martins 250 Entours. With the ETC board, I would manually punch in the dimmer channel and set it to a level to send the LAMP ON command. Can I still do this on the Bullfrog? Say B020 AT 10? Or am I going to need to set up a submaster just to do this? I also had a couple MACROS to close the dimmer in case something went wrong. Whats the norm for using MARTINS on the BULLFROG? I dont have them set as LAMP ON on POWER ON as then we would have to use the breaker in the back to turn them off and on but perhaps I may rethink that. And sometimes I have to send a reset command to them as well (B020 AT 85) I currently do have them set as FIXTURES. I am hoping there is way to reset the HOME position that is programmed in as well. As the HOME position will point right where people are sitting. I downloaded the fixture editor and looks like I can modify that. Quote
GLX Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 Store all your macros as pallets, I just use the last 6 beamshape pallets as lamp on/off, reset, etc. Quote
K-Nine Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 The 'Home' value for pan and tilt parameters is normally set to 50% (128 on an 8 bit parameter and 32768 on a 16 bit parameter) If you load the fixture type into the Fixture Type Editor, you can edit the home values as required and then save the edited fixture type file to floppy, then assign the fixtures on the desk to the new fixture type. gress Posted November 12, 2004 Author Report Posted November 12, 2004 Pallets idea sounds good. Once I know how to use those. At least I know it can be done. Thanks. Quote
K-Nine Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 You can use palettes as suggested above, or record the required fixture parameter data (channel data) directly onto a submaster and trigger the outputs that way. GLX Posted November 12, 2004 Report Posted November 12, 2004 Using the subs is fine if you can find enough space to put all of that pvc Quote
