sp
Hi, quite an urgent question. We've got a Neutron S*T*A*R Hazer by Le Maitre. It has a DMX socket which is 3-pin. I've converted it to 5-pin using the method suggested by Haytech. The problem is, how do I know what DMX address it uses? We don't have any instructions and there are no dip switches that I can see. Any ideas? sp
GLX
If there's no dips the unit should be DMX1, providing it's a dmx unit.
Laubfrosch
Hi SP, DO NOT plug your DMX Line to this Socket!!! The Le Maitre Haze has a DMX Remote as Option!!!! Your 3pin XLR is a analog input! Please see the link!!! http://www.lemaitreltd.com/docs/Neutron%20XS%20Manual.pdf regards Sven Quote Sven Paulsen Klangfarbe Vienna
sp
Oh right 8O So if I apply 10 volts to pin 2 (pin 1 as 0v) then the hazer is triggered? sp
Laubfrosch
Yepp, SP, you got it! Probably contact your local dealer and ask for an offer of the DMX-interface. Cheers Sven 8) Quote Sven Paulsen Klangfarbe Vienna
