sp Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 For example: Chase A: Snap Attack, Auto Drive Chase B: Snap Attack, Manual Drive Say you're running chase A on a sub, and you've modified it live so that it's now using a fade attack and a bass drive. You didn't know this beforehand, so you couldn't have programmed it. Then you raise chase B on another sub, and you also want that as a fade attack & bass drive for this particular act. The problem is, you have to keep pressing the Attack button until you get to fade again, so that chase B fades as well. Then you have to keep pressing the Drive button so that it cycles down to bass, all the while messing up chase A. My suggestion is to have a chase 'update' button. When you modify a chase live, the relevent drive/attack settings light up on the desk, right? So if you had this function (I suggest F1), the settings already set could be given to all current chases, instantly. This would, most importantly, be a one-touch operation. Currently I think F1 has to be held down for the 'monitor lock' function, so it could possibly be used for this. Personally this would be really useful, sorry about the long post, couldn't think how to explain it any shorter sp Quote
K-Nine Posted November 18, 2004 Report Posted November 18, 2004 Chase modifers can be adjusted live either globally for all chases running, or for individually selected chases - this functionality was introduced in version 9 software.
