As Phantom Frog is a Windows application, you will need to use a PC emulator such as VirtualPC.

Hi,

I have got a apple mac and i was wondering if there was any ideas about software for mac because they seem to be used for this kind of creative use. I was thinking of inperticular the phantom frog software because you could use the split screen function on macs and put the output screen on the other monitor.

This was just an idea, very impresssed with everything Frog !

ditto, I know have a mac so it would be great, but i wouldn't hold your breath- it would be a big task!

It's unlikely we'd ever do a specific port for Mac. This would indeed be a significant amount of work. Phantom Frog grew out of the development environment that the Frog series software began it's life in, before any hardware even existed.

 

It was never really intended to be released atall, but then one day a nosey salesman was wandering through R&D and spotted it... the rest is history :wink:

Is there no chance this software could be made open-source for the avid software delopers among us to have a chance at making it mac-able?

 

This would also mean they could try and make it able to handle DMX from the software (which was a question I read in another thread)
