Yves Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 don't know if it's mentioned before. It would be great to change the home parameters for position so you could use the effects easily when the heads are in the front. if you use it now half the time the beam is behind the stage. greetz yves Quote
GLX Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 You can!!, Edit the personality for the fixture and set the home values to what ever you want. Quote

ice Posted October 3, 2004 Report Posted October 3, 2004 Thinking of that... it would be a rather cool feature if pallet 1 became the "HOME" pallet. Programming pallet 1 would overwrite the fixtures HOME parameters. Okay that won't work for brightness, too bad. Leaving pallet 1 unprogrammed would not change the home parameters and use default, fixturetype programmed values. I noticed I always program the HOME values at pallet 1, so it wouldn't change my way of programming And for the operators unwilling to sacrifice a pallet for such a function, add a superuser option "overwrite default HOME" with yes/no as options... done deal! Paul Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 If you're willing to sacrifice a palette for this function, why would you care whether it was on the 'Palette1' button or the 'Home' button? It doesn't add anything. Like ice suggests, the best solution is to program Palette1 with the Home values, and then edit Palette1 as required. Quote

daoops Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 hmmm, this was strange. first someone says you can edit the home values on the desk, and then in the end K-nine says it is for review.. Is it possible or not ?? Quote
K-Nine Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 You cannot currently edit the home (default) values for fixture parameters or any of the other fixture profile data on the frog desk itself. To edit a fixture profile requires the Fixture Type Editor. Quote K-Nine : Technically Advanced Roving Dog In Space Bran Media | Myspace

Hmmm that's true, but you can reach HOME with only one press, starting a pallet takes two (hands). But I can manage using the first pallet. Quote > 500 posts, time for a new T-shirt?
K-Nine Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 You could always program your amended 'home' position palette as number 24 (or 48 on a bull frog or mambo frog) ... then it would be much closer Quote K-Nine : Technically Advanced Roving Dog In Space Bran Media | Myspace
